I agree with this quote. It goes with the golden rule, “Do to others what you want done to you.” If you give others kindness they will give kindness back to you, but if you are rude to someone you are opening up a path for them to be mean to you.

I really understand this quote because my great-grandma just died a few days ago and we had to go to her funeral. But when we got there everybody was being really kind to everybody else which usually doesn’t happen. They all said they were doing it for the same reason because my great-grandma was kind to all of them. I believe that this quote is sending the message that when you are kind and respectful to others, they will be kind and respectful to you in return. Even just a smile is an act of kindness and when they smile back, that’s the kindness that’s being produced! So my goal for everyone today is for them to get three-five people to smile 🙂
