“Getting people to like you is only the other side of liking them” (Dr. Norman Vincent Peale)

I agree with Dr. Norman because if you want someone to like you, then you have to truly like them. There is no way that you can have a friendship with only one person.

“Never criticize a man until you’ve walked a mile in his moccasins.” (American Proverb)

I choose this quote because people think other’s lives is so much more better. Until they go through your life they shouldn’t say anything.

  3. Darynn

“Getting people to like you is only the other side of liking them” (Dr. Norman Vincent Peale)

I think that this quote means that you can’t just expect someone to like you if you don’t like them too. I think that if you are mean to someone you shouldn’t expect them to be nice to you.

“Never criticize a man until you’ve walked a mile in his moccasins.” (American Proverb)

Everyone is different and so you shouldn’t judge or criticize them until you know what their life is like. Would you like someone to think negative or hateful thoughts about you? You never how easy or hard it can be for someone so before you judge someone, think about this quote.

  5. “Never criticize a man until you’ve walked a mile in his moccasins.” (American Proverb) This means that you should not judge someone until you’ve, “walked a mile in his moccasins,” which means not to judge someone until you know what their life is like. I personally hate it when people judge me or people around me because it isn’t nice, and you should not judge someone until you’ve “walked a mile in his moccasins.”

This means that you shouldn’t judge somebody just by what they look like or what they have, or don’t have. You never know how a person truly is until you truly walk a mile in they’re moccasins.

“Never criticize a man until you’ve walked a mile in his moccasins.” (American Proverb)
I think that this WOW means not to judge someone or say rude things to someone, because they could be going through hard times. I also think that this WOW means that you should know the persons story before you judge them. That was what I thought this WOW meant.

You should never criticize someone and you don’t know how his/her life from what you see. That means it is wrong to criticize till you have had the experience they have had.

Getting people to like you is only the other side of liking them” (Dr. Norman Vincent Peale) I think this means that every one doesn’t have to like you. You can like people , but they might like you back and if they don’t like you you might have some actual friends that like you and you like them.
