Hello world! So for my next How-To video, I will be telling you how to make a magnetic makeup board! It is super useful for helping organize your makeup, or you could also use it to hang jewelry or anything that is magnetic! Hope you guys enjoy!
Materials:
- Empty Frame
- Sheet of Metal (the size of the frame)
- Fabric of Your Choice
- Spray Glue
- Magnets
- Hot Glue Gun
- Your Makeup/Jewelry
- Pill/Small Bottles (Optional)
- Small Pebbles (Optional)
- Paint (Optional)
- Frame Stand (optional)
Procedure:
- Start by making sure that your sheet of metal fits into the back of the frame. This is the base for our board.
- Then take you fabric and spray glue. Follow any necessary steps for the spray glue (as written on the packaging) and spray it all over one side of the metal. Quickly place you fabric tightly down on the metal. (You may need someone to help you with this!) Smooth out any wrinkles before the glue drys.
- For extra security, you can hot glue the edges of the fabric to the back of the metal.
- Then take any of the makeup you wish to attach to the board and hot glue a magnet to the back. Now you can place it on your board! Continue until you have all your makeup secured to your board.
- If you also wish to store your brushes on the board, you can take a pill bottle and paint it or use a small container of your choice and glue a magnet to it. For an extra touch, you can add some small pebbles into the container to hold the brushes upward. (Make sure the container is not to heavy or it will fall off the board!)
